Usually students from 30~40 countries are studying here. In the past 5 years, students from 81 countries have come to TCJ for study. The study atmosphere at TCJ is very international. Students get exposed to various cultures from different nations.

About Visas

Can students apply for visa?

If a student plans to stay in Japan for more than 1 year for the purpose of studying Japanese, he or she may apply for a student visa. If a student needs a visa to stay in Japan for 3 months to study, he or she has to apply for the visa by his/herself

About Continuing to Higher Education

I’d like to continue to higher education. What preparations should I make?

This will vary depending on the type of institution and which institution you wish to study at. The teachers responsible for helping with continuing to higher education will provide individual support, so feel free to consult them. Additionally, lessons in Japanese universities and vocational schools are typically taught in Japanese. In order to understand the lessons, and communicate effectively in Japan, you will need Japanese language skills.
