I was chosen for Kyoritsu International Foundation scholarship.

  • Name : RAZZAK MOHAMMAD ABDUR
  • Place of Birth : Bangladesh

Why did you apply for the scholarship?

Before coming to Japan, I read books about the scholarship system in Japan. Therefore, I have already known that there are many scholarships in Japan.
It was hard for me to manage time to study and to work as a part-time at the same time, so I thought it would be very helpful if I could get a scholarship to spend much time to study.
One day, I found the information of the scholarship at TCJ, and applied for it.

What is the thing that you are into now?

Of course, I’m into leaning Japanese even though I have already been studying it in Japan for a year!
Especially, I want to study more about Kanji. Kanji is difficult for me…

What are you going to try harder from now on?

My plan after graduation from TCJ is to learn about Civil engineering at a college.
I have interest in making bridge and landscape architect.
There are a few colleges/universities which provide courses in English. Most of colleges/universities require international students to have high Japanese proficiency.
I assumed that it would be hard to study Japanese and expertise at once, so I decided to enroll in a language school before going to a college.
I entered TCJ and could improve my Japanese skill a lot.
If you plan to go to a college or university in Japan, but have anxiety about your Japanese level, I really recommend to study Japanese at Japanese language school first.

Could you kindly give students your message?

There are many scholarships in Japan.
If you study Japanese hard, you will have a chance to get a scholarship.
Good luck!

Mr. Razzak, thank you for answering the questions.

Every TCJ teacher and staff hopes that you will make your dream come true!
